ORY Sourcing is a Chrome extension provided by Talent BluePrint FZ, LLC, UAE. It helps authorised Orythara users move candidate information from a profile they are viewing into their organisation's Orythara recruitment account. This policy is for the extension, not the public marketing website.
01. What the extension does
The extension supports sign-in and a user-directed capture of candidate profile information. It does not collect your browsing history or keystrokes, and it does not capture content from pages where you do not use the extension.
A profile is captured only when you choose to capture it. Having the extension installed is not an instruction to save every page you visit.
02. Signing in
When you sign in, the extension sends your email address and password via HTTPS to Orythara to verify your identity. It does not store your password. After sign-in, a session token is stored in Chrome's local extension storage on your device to keep you signed in. Signing out removes the local session token; uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage.
03. Capturing a candidate profile
When you choose to capture a profile, the extension reads relevant information visible on that page. Depending on what is available, this can include the candidate's name, job title, company, location, profile URL, and visible contact details. It sends the selected candidate information over HTTPS to your organisation's Orythara account to create or update a recruitment record.
Capture only information that you and your organisation are permitted to use. Candidate records in the organisation's account may be accessible to people authorised by that organisation; they are not simply stored on your device.
04. Storage, retention and sharing
The session token is kept locally in Chrome extension storage while you are signed in. Captured candidate information is sent to and held in the organisation's Orythara account. Data sent between the extension and Orythara travels over HTTPS. How long candidate records remain in that account depends on your organisation's account arrangements and applicable obligations; ask your organisation's administrator or contact us for details.
We may use providers needed to operate Orythara, and may disclose information where required by applicable law. We do not sell extension user data or use it for advertising. We do not use extension data for purposes unrelated to sign-in or the candidate capture function.
Whether a candidate record remains in an organisation's account depends on the account and its data handling. If you need a record removed, ask your organisation's Orythara administrator or contact us. We will review requests in light of the organisation's access and any applicable obligations.
05. Your choices and requests
- You can decide whether to capture a profile; capture does not happen without your action.
- You can sign out to remove the locally stored session token, or uninstall the extension to remove its local extension data from your browser.
- You can contact your organisation's Orythara administrator or support@orythara.com to ask about accessing, correcting, or deleting information held in Orythara. We will assess the request and respond as appropriate.
Signing out or uninstalling removes local extension data; it does not, by itself, erase candidate records already saved in your organisation's Orythara account.
06. Chrome Web Store Limited Use
We use information received from the extension in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use it to provide the sign-in and user-requested candidate capture features described here, not for advertising or unrelated profiling. The extension is intended for professional use and is not directed at anyone under 18.
